In addition to a quality selection of around 60 European feature films, the festival is the ARC 1950 COPRODUCTION VILLAGE, this unique European coproduction market selecting around 20 European coproduction projects each year in an exceptional atmosphere at the heart of the Arc 1950 Village (French Alps).

December in Les Arcs 1950

During 4 days, the ARC 1950 COPRODUCTION VILLAGE aims to welcome 20 European film projects. The selected projects’ representatives will have the opportunity to meet 800 professionals and potential partners during one-to-one meetings with:

– potential co producers
– French and European distributors
– sales agents
– regional funds
– banks, equity partners, specialists of tax credit systems in Europe
– and of course all the professionals that come to the festival to present a film

Debates and case studies are also organized on production and distribution issues in Europe.
Each year a country is honoured by LES ARCS EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL.

Created in 2011, the WORK IN PROGRESS is a selection of around 10 films in post-production, looking for financiers, distributors or a sales agent, which will be presented to all the participants, and especially sales agents, distributors and festivals, on the occasion of a special screening animated by the festival’s artistic director Frédéric Boyer.

ARC 1950 COPRODUCTION VILLAGE aims to be more than just a series of professional meetings, but also a place to develop informal relationships, in a casual atmosphere, in a unique place. Sports sessions (European Cinema Ski Cup, snowshoeing and « pitches »on chairlifts), lunches and cocktails will rhythm these 4 days.
