The Creative Europe MEDIA sub-programme, set to celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2026, has played a key role in strengthening the European film and audiovisual sector. As the only EU programme dedicated to supporting the development, circulation, and promotion of European audiovisual works, its continued support is vital—especially in the face of digital transformation, technological innovation, and global political challenges.
