Europa International, the European network gathering 38 sales agents, has held its general assembly in Cannes on Tuesday the 13th of May just before the opening of Cannes Film Festival, under the presidency of Susan Wendt from TrustNordisk.
The main discussion has been made with Jérôme Paillard and Danièle Birgé from the Cannes Market, in order to start the brainstorm for the 2nd workshop of Europa International about the relationships between sales agents and the festivals / markets, which will be held during the next Marrakech Film Festival in December, thanks to Europa International partnership with Le Public System Cinema.
Europa International also took the opportunity to introduce to its members its new partner to help the fims industry to fight against piracy, CopeerRight Agency.
For this 65th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Europa International is proud to announce the line up of its members, with 17 films in official selection, 9 films for Un Certain Regard, 6 films for La Semaine de la Critique, and 11 films for La Quinzaine des Réalisateurs.
